Current rule reads:

If a game ends in a tie after the specified number of holes in a match, the players must play again to determine a winner. Any method of determining a winner is fine as long as all players agree. All game settings from the previous game shall be used. The player who would logically have 'Honors' shall host the game. If the players cannot agree about the method used to determine a winner, use the appropriate method shown below. 1) If at least ONE player involved is ranked OVER 20, Sudden Death is played. 2) If ALL players involved are in the top 20, a minumum of 9 holes must be played.

Proposed Change:

If a match ends in a tie after the specified number of holes in a match, the players must play again to determine a winner. All settings from the previous match shall be used. The player who would logically have 'Honors' shall host the match. A minimum of nine (9) holes must be played. If the match is still tied after 9 holes, sudden death shall then be played until there is a winner.
