RR is generally correct, but my question is what does no power mean?
When you partner went 60, he has a good hand and counting on you to end up with 10 points in your basket (your side after the game is ended)
I would take a look at your 24 meld, If your p hits one of your marriages you now have 26 points in your basket, If you got 1 ace, that should give you 2 more points or 28 and if I got 2 aces that should give you 30 counters in your basket.
I count my meld as the strength of my hand, and add 2 points for every ace I have. So with 24 meld and two aces I would give a jump bid,
Another thing to consider is how well your partner plays, if he/she plays like Essie I would consider passing, but if he/she plays like RR I would give a jump bid. If you make it you are a hero, if your p goes set, then you are an idiot.

: : Okay, person to the left of you opened with 52, your partner bid 60. Right hand opponent passes. You have 24 meld, but no power. What would you bid?
