slow play -Please be courteous

How fair is it for someone to be 6 minutes behind when playing this game. I told the person at 4 minutes, then said you could get a sub, and the person said NO. Either we have rules or we don't. Please be courteous and play in a timely manner. If you have a problem, you can always tell us at the table, but helping a child with homework is not a problem. Maybe giving the child your full attention is much better than playing a pinochle game, and short changing all. Just My Honest Opinion.
