Lectori salutem,

After I met Andy (Sweetdog) after a long time, I read the messages in the forum posted in March 2004 and I also like to have a restart of the ladder, which was my 1st-one. Inthere I have had very hard lessons to learn to play the game right. ;-)

I also tried out several ladders, but no-one was like the early days.
Even though it was a democratic decision (after all there was a voting) I think, it was a big mistake to allow 1 vs 1 games. Together with other events, it was the beginning of the end. And after Yahoo closed the open room and we had to go to rooms, where lots of non-ladderplayers only wanted to play short games from 50 points or so, it was over.

I like the idea, to make a re-start with a little crew, like Rod suggested, and to play at fixed days and times. Lets stop playing 1 vs 1 (not rated for the ladder) and go for a real lowman-game or even better: partner-games.

I mostly are online between 04.00 and 06.00 pm east. Yahoo-messenger or zjari@yahoo.com.

And maybe we, more or less, could have our own room. On the Hearts-pard of Mystic Island (www.mysticisland.net) there is a room called: Anything Goes. It is "free for all hearts with NO ladders" and i never ever saw somebody in it. You have to get used a little to the cards, but there are a lot of game-formats you can choose.

Please take a look.

Zjari
