Dear Mr. brainsturgeon,
All of us at BM Labs have noticed your explosive form of flatulence here in the Cases Forum and would like to help by offering a bit of background information on abdominal gas that might apply to your situation and help you move forward, ever closer to a remedy.
Abdominal gas comes from one of two possible causes:
1) Firstly, often people complain of gas because they are air swallowers. This air swallowing may be the result of talking or drinking while eating or from being a mouth breather.
2) The second major cause of gas is fermentation of nonabsorbale materials e.g. cabbage or breakdown of lactose by colonic bacteria. I can only surmise that you have somehow altered the relative proprtions of bacteria in your colon to reduce the oganisms involved in this bacterial breakdown of nonabsorbed foods.
Hope this helped.
Your bud,
Bowel
