I haven't publicly advertised that much in these places, but have told friends about the ladder, friends I made in these lounges when I occasionally visit them.

I think Beginner and Intermediate lounges are overall pure or at least not nearly as corrupted as ladder.
Social is really great too, you get the most amateur people possible, and amateurs are great people, often times.

The problem with social lounges is, though, that most players there are one timers, provisionals and people who jump around and never play many games at all.
You rarelly ever see a person with more than 1000 games played in a social lounge.
Still good sources...
