The passing of merlin the wizard..

I come here not as a TDManager but as one of the oldtimer yback members...

Yesterday, John (merlin the wizard 1) passed away. He was a staple in this ladder many moons ago -- and at one time gave a great deal of energy and dedication to making this ladder great. His tourneys were always fun and crowded ~ but even before that when he was just a player -- he was here consistantly -- from time to time, taunting some of us with his ego and claims to expert bg playing :D

I know that he has butted heads with some players from yback -- but I also know that many of you have loved him and respected him along the way..

Now, in this sad time of his passing, I hope that you all will take time to remember his poor daughter Heidi and all the friends he left behind when you pray to your god. And remember the fun times and all the good things that he did to enrich bg at yahoo.

John will surely be missed by many...
