This ladder is/was a joke. There simply are/were too many chiefs and not enough indians. Heck! Do we really need Head TD's anyways? What the heck are the TD Managers meant to do? And as for Ladder Ops....please!! What would be wrong with the TD Manager or the Admin department being a dob center?? And why aren't they screened for maturity prior to being taken on?
It all adds up to a heirachy mess! Everyone wants in on the power and few want to play the game. If someone comes up with a cases Sim they will make a fortune!
And as for the soap opera going on around here. For goodness sakes people, we are players not actors and actresses. I've never seen such Award winning performances on any other ladder. Heck, you have a person supposedly in a 'power' possition, acting like a spoiled brat, crying foul everytime someone steps on her little toe (or has something constructive to say), threatening to leave every second day....waits for the 'ooohhh please don't leave us high'...and comes back...hero!! PUKE!! Wake up people, you are being played like fools.
Ok, so now we have a new ladder, and what are you all doing?? Offering your services to the Admin staff....and guess what people! If you go ahead and make a heiirachy over there as has happened here, you too will fail.
The players really only need an Admin, TD Manager and Td's....that's it!!!
Lets get on with playing the game and quit the stupid melodramatics and soap opera shall we???
Forgive me if I offend..and lets not make a BIG DEAL out of this ok? I only speak the truth how I see it from an outside perspective. I expect much crap about this post, and perhaps even more cry baby crap!! So be it!
I suggest strongly that Big Al et al. do NOT make the same mistakes this ladder made....too many Chiefs!!
BTW, I agree that Big Al was treated rather harshly on a one-off mistake...we all do that. Perhaps a warning would have been sufficient, however, he did break the rules...rules he signed to when he took the responsibilty as head td. I am not slandering Big Al in any way, just stating the facts. His dismissal was too harsh....absolutely...and I am behind him all the way. But, what else can we do people?? Is there another form of ladder where there are not strick guidelines (rules) that works?
Is there ladder where adults can play and Td's are free to make tourneys at will? I know game colony has half hourly tournaments....why wasn't Al allowed to do same here??
Ohhh well, that's my 2 cents worth. Let the rotten tomatoes fly ... I don't give a rats...I have a life outside this soap box!!LOL
