Updates - Downtime Tomorrow

Hi all,

Thanks for your patience over the weekend. I realize we had some severe problems on some servers that made them inaccessible. Unfortunately, due to the holiday, we had limited staff available to help us. We didn't want to make things worse by trying to force things back online so we opted to let them sit until we could have more people to work on things after the weekend.

As you recall, last week was pretty crazy as well...Trust us, we do not enjoy the servers being messed up any more than you do. In fact, with long days and virtually no sleep it is easy for mistakes to pile up if you are not very careful. That is why we have been trying to take our time and not rush in to fast fixes.

We were able to make some great headway this afternoon in getting things resolved. I am sure you have already noticed things are running much more smoothly and faster than they have been over the past week. We are going to watch the situation very carefully tonight, but we think we have crossed a major hurdle.

As mentioned before the move, we also have some big enhancements to do to the site. In order to do this, we will need to bring the site down tomorrow morning for several hours. We will only do this if things look like they are fixed tonight...And tomorrow's update will be to replace our primary database server.

This will happen tomorrow morning. More details later, just wanted to give everyone the heads up.
