Hi all,

Another update from the front lines tonight. As mentioned yesterday, we had three priorities.

#1 - Web server pool. While we have had some other issues today, we seem to have solved this one. The web site was generally accessible all day, even if some of the leagues and servers beyond that had hiccups. So we think we have this one put to bed for the time being.

#2 - CGI13. Unfortunately we were not able to get this server back online. The good news is that we were able to make some progress on getting the hard drives operational again. We believe we have a bad SCSI backplane on the server and we will be trying to swap out the chassis for a spare tomorrow. If this works, we'll come up with no data loss for those leagues.

#3 - User homepages. The upgrade of this server is taking much longer than we expected, there are many files to transfer. So we have put in a patch to allow homepages to work temporarily. There may be some issues with uploading new files and things like that, but at least all the hundreds of thounds of files that are there are working for now.

We have made some other improvements today on the back end, and are hopefully we can make even more progress today.

The biggest issues for today are getting CGI13 working and stablizing the so we don't have servers that have periods of downtime.
