Hi all,

Just some updates -- as you know we have had some technical challenges today. Unfortunately there are always bumps in the road with a move of this size. While it may seem hard to believe, we are already recognizing some of the benefits of being in the new facility. It has made diagnosing some problems much faster than it would have been.

Right now, there are three major issues we are working to address.

Our first priority is the web server pool. We had some issues this afternoon and evening with higher than expected loads. We will be bringing on line some additional hardware tomorrow to help with this. We are also migrating out some older less powerful servers at this time.

Second, CGI13 is still down. There is a problem with the hard drive that holds some of the player data, and we would rather not revert to the backup. Tomorrow, if we are not able to get this working in a reasonable amount of time we will restore from a backup. Either way, CGI13 should be working again tomorrow.

Third, user homepages. We are moving this to a new more powerful server. We were running critically low on space on the old one. There are hundreds of thousands of files to move there, so it will take some time to complete. Of course we want to resolve this as soon as possible, but making sure Case's and MyLeague operate properly has top billing.

There are other problems as well, but those are the top three.
