now then, there were alot more tournaments during the evening even just a few short weeks ago, and as i'm sure other tds have their reasons i have mine for not setting....you hot, mention how its not fair to members who work or have kids that the tournaments are being held at night, well i do have kids who were not getting the attention they needed because i was too busy hosting in the evening, you say that its not just what the tds want that we have to think of the league...well we need to think about our REAL LIVES and families as well, then when tournaments are in fact set we are wondering if we will have jumpers which is discouraging, not everyone in the room is in the league and not all league members want to jump every tournament, ppl do have friends that are not in the league that they would like to play once in a while, this is a volunteer position and tds need to be treated as just that, we are donating OUR time out of OUR busy lives to entertain YOU, we do not get paid for it and yet get very little recognition for the fact that we are giving you our time...which i view as my most precious asset, every tournament that i set..is an hour or so that i am not putting towards something else...so maybe members should be happy that we are dedicated enough to give of ourselves what we do, as opposed to being told that its not enough.

: : i, along with quite a few other league members, are not impressed with the fact that there are little or no tourneys during the day or evening. the vast majority of them r being hosted after 12am, which really is no fair to those who have work or kids. this is only fair to those who practically live in their computers day and nite. yes, its getting warmer outside now, so alot of ppl dont want to sit inside all day, but how about a few tourneys in the evening, say between the hrs of 5pm and 11pm? that way, atleast the normal-life ppl can have a chance to join a few tourneys. there are alot of ppl complaining that the room is too boring, becuz of no tourneys. if i wouldn't have been denied for my application for td, i would be hosting 3-4 tourneys during these hrs to keep the league happy... remember td's, its not just what u want..its about the whole league.
