: I am looking for some input on prices and courses being proposed for this year's Scram. Take a look and post below some comments ..... it would sure be appreciated!!
: Monday:
: Links at Groveport GC
: 1005 Richardson Road, Groveport, OH
: http://www.golflink.com/golf-courses/course.aspx?course=861045
: Practice range on-site.
: Anytime: $25
: Tuesday:
: Cooks Creek
: This looks like a great course!! I am suggesting this for the Fri/Sat Scram but it is higher priced and appears to be much tougher (tight and water) than some of the other courses.
: 16405 US Hwy 23S, Ashville, OH
: www.cookscreek.com
: Practice range next door.
: $45 Fri; $60 Sat (Outing: $51/$69 with extras but not necessary if we don't want)
: Wed/Thur (Scram days):
: Foxfire GC; Players Club course
: Course also looks good; both open and closed holes and water.
: 10799 State Rt. 104, Lockbourne, OH
: www.foxfiregolfclub.com
: Practice range on-site.
: $45 Fri; $49 Sat
: Fri/Sat (SCram days)
: Blacklick Woods Metro Golf Course
: http://www.metroparks.net/ParksBlacklickWoodsGolfCourse.aspx
: 7309 E. Livingston Ave., Reynoldsburg, OH
: Practice range on-site I think!
: $33 Thur; $39 Fri+
: Alternate course:
: Turnberry Golf Course
: 1145 Clubhouse Road, Pickerington, OH
: www.nn.net/golf/turnberry.htm
: No practice range on-site.
: $28 Fri; $33 Sat
: The Cooks Creek course is a lil pricier than than normal so I have moved it into a "non scram day" for those arriving earlier. It looks like a challenging and beautiful layout so I would like to play that at some point!
: Let me know what your thoughts are everyone ..... time to start getting serious about the prep work for this event. Previous Scram hosts have set a pretty high level of quality and expectations ... so the quicker we can get some things established the easier it will be to augment the basic arrangements!
