I have read your forum postings and thought I could answer a few of your concerns.

Firstly, we are a new ladder (only 2 months in existence) and we are currently trying to build the ladder. I understand your concern about not being able to get a ladder game outside of a tournament situation, but,please be aware that if you are in the lobby and a player comes in you are more than welcome to ask for a game.

Secondly, we are not just promoting Tournaments. This seems at the moment to be the way to get players to play on the ladder. We are hoping that in the future more players like yourself will be here and there will be more one on one playing going on.
I hope that you will try IPlay Gin again and this time be more successful in your endeavor to get a few one on one games with the players here as they are very good players and truly enjoy this game.
