I'am one of those players who rarely reads chat during matches and am not in to congratulating each other at end of every hand. Its very distracing to me. I usually wait until game is over and thank the player for the game. After I leave game room I always thank TD for the tourney. Because this is my method of playing I hope its not being interpreted as being unfriendly.
