First off.
NO HOSTING IS PERMITTED IN ANOTHER GAME SITE, WHETHER IT BE VIA YAHOO OR MSN OR OTHER. It is NOT permitted and anybody found hosting will be penalized.
Cases has rules to keep the peace, use them.
You are allowed to play ladder matches. LADDER MATCHES. They are NOT tournament related.
I know, ok this sucks... but there are reasons for it.
1 - other game sites have leagues in them, whether you see them or not. Whether they are dormant or not. It is not nice, nor is it right to step on their toes.
2 - any players that start seeing tournaments being played will want to join in, and it's not fair to them to pull it away from them.
Not everybody is going to agree with the rules, not everybody is going to like them... But the idea is to follow them.
I know this sucks, no games.com but we're hoping soon. And yes that's the best I can give you and I'm sorry. It's not fair, and I don't like it either, but that's just the way it is.
NO I don't know when games.com is going to have backgammon back. I have already said that I'm working on that. And that I will post all news I get in the forum for everybody to know.
NO I don't think that it will take long at all... so all everybody has to do is have a little bit of patience and everything will be fine.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, I ask that you read the forum first... any questions that I didn't answer here you may ask me.
Promise to keep everybody posted.
