Hey guys
Ok first off - calm down :p
The new games.com has apparently launched.
I didn't want to post anything until I had all the information I could possibly get, but I thought I had more time than this (obviously)
Here's what I've got.
1 - The new site is in macromedia format, meaning... well, that the java based backgammon game is not done yet, and is not at the site YET
2 - I have no official date set for when backgammon will be launched on the new games.com site. I'm sorry this is just the way it is.
3 - I am taking steps so that the league will not "fold" so to speak, and that all inactive players do NOT get purged due to inactivity when there is no site to play at.
4 - TDs will NOT be purged due to not hosting, so don't worry.
This is everything I have right now. Rest assured I am working on a solution right now and I will be giving you answers as I get them.
So until then, you are still able to play ladder matches the usual way. Just remember, no advertising of the league is permitted in other game sites lobbies.
I promise to keep y'all informed, so until then... relax and take some much needed time off to sit back and rest your feet. :-)
