I am using Vista and Fan's solution worked for me. I just took it step my step...
Open the C:\WINDOWS\32\drivers\etc\ folder and right click on the Hosts file.
If there is a check mark in the "Read Only" box remove it and then click Apply.
Now double click on the Hosts file.
When the dialog box opens and asks you what program you want to use to open it, select Notepad.
At the bottom of the file starting in the first column and keeping everything on one line enter 18.104.22.168 hoylegames.sierra.com.
Be sure that there is at least one space between the IP address and the host name.
Close the Hosts file and save it.
