Tournaments will start once our ladder has established itself a little more. I will definately run a couple when I see if there are enough players that are interested in one at the time. Once our numbers grow, they will become more frequent.
What's the difference between a Tourney Director and Toureny Manager?
The Tournament Director is a volunteer from our Club Games ladder who devotes themselves to running tournaments for the enjoyment of other players.
The Tournament Manager is someone who heads up the "tournament" portion of our ladder and who the Tournament Directors can go to for support and guidance.
I got on to play and no one was in the room - what's up with that?
As stated before, this ladder is still small in numbers but growing. We have just begun establishing ladder ops and other admin. As players join, it will make it easier to find a match and find enough players for a tournament. Stay tuned to the main page in the future for tournament announcements. Please have patience while we try to build.
Is HotWenchy still here?
Our beloved Nancy has retired as HTD and taken a more active role as a player. She is pursuing other intersts in life and while she still plays, she has felt that it is time for her to step down in her position. We all are greatful for everything she has done and I look forward to playing those 7 pt matches with her.
