Tourneys are what seem to attrack players. Perhaps having tourneys would help. I know Katrine annouce their tourneys in main lobby when having them. Perhaps this would help.

Have normal tourney, but also have a progressive tourney that could take place over a couple of days/weeks even. Battle of the best...let players set up times via email.... give 3-5 days to play round. This would help players in different time zones get matches. Must win 2 out of 3 matches, 5 pt perhaps. Have double elimination. This would make skill more a factor than luck in winning. Require these matches to be played in ladder room and than players would be there to take challenges after... etc.... Could invite serious skilled players from old ladder via email etc to play.. I'm not sure if cases would consider this a violation of rules since gamedesire ladder is dead.

Also making it easier to play more might help. Playing match outside the ladder room in an outside tourney might help create more action. I know that this restriction was put into place when ladder was expected to grow. It didn't grow.

: Prizes, lots of prizes:)....Bonus ladder bucks. Perhaps Cases could donate a free Gold membership to the overall winner. You might get with Carol and see if Club Games would contribute a prize or two in play money. If its legal at Cases, perhaps a real money grand prize depostited in one's CG money account for the overall winner. And maybe a raffle for ladder bucks. Every match you play buys you a chance at the grand finale raffle. The more matches you play, the more chances to win.
