How To Set Up A Match

Hi everyone.

This is the second set of instructions on the site. You now have the program downloaded and into the main lobby. What do I do now? This post will cover that. :)

This section will outline how to set up a game and get it started.

After entering in the room, you need to click on the ligher colored sunshine towards the top left of the page. Then, you need to click on "Select Game". Then, another popup will occur. Search for Mille Bornes in the game list and double click on it. Be sure the box "Change Rooms After Loading" is selected in that popup and then click on "Ok".

Now, you will be moved to the Mille Bornes room, and if done correctly, you should see under the game column next to your name with "MBO", which is the site's abbreviation meaning you have Mille Bornes loaded.

Now onto startinng the actual game. :)

Whether you are setting or joining an offered game, you need to click on the lighter background sunshine again and click on "Play A Game". Another popup will now appear. In the dropdown for Lobby Name, be sure to choose Mille Bornes.

If you are setting, you can make your choices such as allowing observers, the turn order, etc. Once you are satisfied with the settings, you need to click on begin. At this point, you just need to wait for others to join your game. You will notice in the chat that it will say "*** (Your Name Here) is offering a game of Mille Bornes" in red in the lobby, as well as your name in the lobby listing appearing in red as well. Not to worry. The red just means you are offering a game of Mille Bornes. :)

Now, let's say you want to accept an offer to play a match. You need to click on the ligher background sunshine again at the top left of the page. You need to click on the "Play A Game" option. A popup will now appear. It will now show all games that are currently being offered. To enter one of them, you need to click on the one you want to play, and then click on "Join".

At this point, if you are the one Joining, you just need to click on the "Ready" button. Your name in the popup will appear in green.

If you are the controller (the one who offered the match), then you need to click on the ready button when you are ready. Once everyone in the room is ready, as noted with all names in green, you will then need to click on "Begin" to begin the match. You are able to play this game with 2, 3, 4, or 6 players. :)

After all of that is done, you should now be at the table and able to play. I will post later more info regarding the actual gameplay and tools you may see while at the table playing. :)
