I just wanted everyone to know that we have ordered $20,000 in upgrades for the site. We are committed to making sure that things run smoothly, and this continued investment into servers and technology is part of that.
We are also hard at work on our offices, which we have recently expanded to support more staff members. As you may have also read in our forums, we also now have several interns from local colleges in the office to help with the odds and ends of running the site.
I'd like to really give a big hand to our premium members. The ongoing support of all our members, especially Platinum and Diamond users, is allowing this upgrade to take place. If you aren't a premium member, please thank those who help financially support this site!
We expect to start installing new servers over the next few days. These upgrades should not cause any downtime for most ladders, although some ladders that are moved to more powerful servers may have a hiccup when they are relocated.
We will also start to roll out more new features soon. We want to make sure we've got the server power in place to support them, as the ladders and tournaments are the most important feature we can offer you.
