I do know that if an Admin does not login at all in over 30 days the league will end up being marked for purge. But I cannot tell you absolutely that logging in, even if there is no activity on the league, will protect it from purging.
There are lots of either/or statements and some things override other things in the way the script looks for activity. The lack of an Admin login is one of those overrides that 'trumps' matches played, for example.
So, to answer your question, my answer is that I don't know, but I will see what I can find out.
