It's not actually screwed up, and it is working as intended.

If you want to remain on a league, put take your Diamond off that league, then use the Add/Remove Leagues to remove the Diamond.

However, if you want to withdraw from a league entirely, don't use Add/Remove, as that places a temporary Gold on your account, just withdraw without removing your Diamond first.

I see that Katrel helped remove your account so I'll assume you're all set.
