Personally, I have had this same experience with a couple people. It does change the way you percieve a person. It allows emotion to be heard and sensed , not guessed at. Each person I have had a real voice communication with( I always prefer the phone), I have always liked and worked out problems so much quicker than if we just sat back and typed to each other to "STFU" or "F O" or "F U". It actually becomes a rational,friendly conversation. Which tells me that most of us aren't the F***ers that we want people to think we are. :-)
It's easy for me to use the phone. I have a plan that gives me unlimited long distance anywhere in the States. So, I don't mind dialing. lol For those that don't , there are many programs that allow voice communication. Some of them are very clear. I encourage more of you to use these programs before convincing yourself that people aren't worth the time of day.
I'd even suck up the cost of a call to Canada or the UK, because I can afford to with the savings I get from U.S. calls. Hint Hint lol
We will all miss Snuffy and those like him. There are many more than we realize. Take a chance and find out who those people are. :-)
