: Thank you for passing that sad news on Thomas,
I will email Adrianna with my condolences. Jim was a great guy with a big heart who just like his father did so much for this game we all enjoy. Many a night we stayed up till 3am playing slowplay foursomes, laughing and making our wives miserable. Links has lost one of the good guys. We can add his name to the list of great linksters who have passed before him. He will be missed.

Sincerely John

: Repost from Links 2000 forum:

: To whom it may concern,
: I sincerely hope I’m putting this notice in the proper place. I regret to inform his online friends, that my son, Jim Carter, better known to his friends as Snuffy_II, passed away Saturday, August 7th, 2004, of a massive heart attack. He would have been 37 on August 17th of this year. He leaves behind his wife, Adrianna, and a 5-month-old daughter, Michelle. This is the second time I have informed the people who play online golf as a pastime a similar message. I lost my husband, Snuffy, to the same disease 4 years ago. My son tried to follow in his father’s footsteps as best he could. I know he spent countless hours trying to help his friends online, but according to my daughter-in-law, he recently had given up his hobby to devote all of his passion to his new family. I looked up his e-mail addresses, but there was so many I wasn’t sure whom to contact. I only pray I am posting this in the proper place. If any one who knew my son, would post this where ever it would be seen, I know in my heart he would appreciate it.

: Mrs. Leanne Carter
: Jim’s mother

: P.S About Jim Carter
: His wife, Adrianna, would read any condolences. Use Snuffythe2nd@ Comcast.net. All I did was follow Jim’s favorites and links to get to this page, and now I see it worked. I’m not sure which version my son played these days, so if he was playing a different version of this game, please pass it to where his old friends may see it.
