This is a copy/paste of letter from my cousin to my aunt. My cousin is a 20 year veteran who could have retired years ago...

>This is a letter I received from my nephew, *****, who is serving over in Iraq. I had asked him about his feeling's for the upcoming elections and here is what he said. He has given his permission to send this on to you and also forward it to the people in your address book if you would. It is a glimpse of why we are in Iraq and why we need to keep President Bush in office.

> Dear ****,
> I am doing fine myself, and we are doing our best to be careful but there are hazards that come with this job. Yes, I was hit the first day of fighting in Najaf, but it wasn't that bad as wounds go. At least I got hit where it could do the least damage, my face, well, at least I'm told. With the elections, we all love our president and it would be a real set back over here if Kerry got in there, not to mention very demoralizing for us. His plans would undo all the good that we have already done over here as well as hand over our jobs to other countries that are not suited to do it. When you give foreign governments money to rebuild Iraq they keep most of it for their own comfort and get the Iraqis all upset and we have to go back and fix it. This is an American job. Also the media pisses us off to no ends, the only time they come around is when there is killing and destruction. We spend 90% of our time rebuilding schools, Mosques, homes, bridges, water plants, power plants ECT...... Does any of that get reported? Everywhere we go we get treated like heroes by the people waving at us giving us thumbs up and even offering us their daughters (which is the greatest complement they can pay a man). They are truly grateful and the life's they lived for the last 30 years in one of the richest countries in the world is unthinkable and thank God our President had the nerve and character to do this for them. The stories they tell will make a grown man cry. There is a local man here I see every day and give him a meal and a bottle of water. He lost 6 brothers, 8 children, all his brothers children and wife's, and his wife. Over 60 people to Sadam's rage. They were beheaded, shot, hung, and boiled in acid, and all this because his father said Sadam was a bad leader. In the city we are in there are three mass grave sites alone and to watch these people try to clam there loved ones is gut wrenching. Someone had to do this and I am just glad I got the opportunity to save these people and to do away with these Sadam loyalist who would do these people harm. I am just glad that I have a wife at home who supports me and our president even more than I do. She does a hell of a great job keeping everything in line back there and I never have to worry about her. She is very supportive and responsible and it makes me serving very easy, so I guess I am blessed.Well I need to get going. I know my faith helps me survive and treat these people with the dignity they deserve.
