the same argument from some of the guys at the top as to why they have no regard for anyone other than themselves. Goes something like "I don't care about rank. I don't care about stats, points, or any of that stuff, and that's why I play on the elite ladder rather than the other ladders." Ya know, that argument works if ur ranked 100th...50th...20th even, but people in the top ten have responsibilities to other players to ensure fair play. If you don't want to be burdened with the responsibilities, and you truly don't care about rank or anything except having fun with ur buds, then prove it...have urself runged out of the top 10...or better yet, just reset ur stats every day so you can have ur fun without having any impact on people who are willing to admit that they DO care about rank along with having fun. It's a ladder! They keep stats! The whole point of the ladder is to climb as far as ur ability will take you. Those of us who find FUN in that challenge, and are willing to admit it, are made to feel as if we have something to apologize for? What bs. Whether you like it or not, if ur in the top ten, your actions have an impact on ur fellow competitors. To say that you just dont pay any attention to what's going on around you is the ultimate act of selfishness and disrespect. My intent isnt to bash u guys...I think most of u are gr8 guys, but I dont buy this crap about not caring. If it was just about having fun with buds, there's a bunker room set up and u dont even have to report when u finish. So dont tell me...show me. Let's see how many rush to reset their stats tomorrow.
