Just browsing the new adopted rules and noticed what IMO is a contradictory set of rules. Could this please be clarified?
Rule #1
Although it does not happen often it is possible that you or your opponent may be disconnected from the game or the Internet entirely before your match is finished. If one player was clearly losing at the time of disconnect then that person should be a good sport and report the loss. If there was no clear winner at that point in the match and it is not a game that allows you to continue then a rematch would be suggested. For more information regarding the proper procedures in the event of a disconnect please visit our FAQ.
Rule #2
If a player disconnects and does not return for the resume, they must report to all players in the game regardless of what the scores were.
Now could you please explain which rule to follow???? I mean if you read rule #1 then are in a match that let's say is only a 1 stroke advantage then it seems you wouldn't have to report if you couldn't reconnect. If you scroll down a little further in the rules then you are telling me that I have to report no matter the score should I not be able to log back on.
I think given the unstableness of the Zone and game platform right now that it's a little silly and even if we didn't have a problem with that then there certainly is a rule contradiction to be addressed.
Just my $.02 worth
