Hello Folks,

I am writing to you because we have been told the sad news of the passing of Beggervance.

Some of you have reported a loss one or more times to Beggervance so that you could honour your friend and keep him/her in the #1 spot.

Case's Ladder has a policy to handle these situations and I am writing to let you know what the policy is and how we can go forward with this.

Our records show that your friend passed away at the end of January. Since that time, your reports of losses has kept him/her in the #1 spot. Normally we would do that for you so that you did not have to report a loss that is against our rules. By keeping your friend in the #1 spot and assisting you so that the rules are also honored, we have a win-win situation.

In order to do this now for you, I will place Beggervance in the Penalty Box for a long period of time. By doing that, your friend will remain a member of this Ladder and will not be forgotten.

As he/she has been in the #1 spot for over a month, it is time to allow normal ladder statistics to dictate who is #1.

As he/she will be in the Penalty Box, you cannot report any more losses to Beggervance.
