I would be careful with this - I believe setting DMZ on a router may stop other computers from accessing the Internet... so only do this if you have just the one computer that you want to use on the Internet.
I think it may be a good idea if we use some kind of VPN software to avoid router problems. A fairly easy-to-use program for this would be Hamachi (http://www.hamachi.cc/). I have created a network for use with Clue - the network name and password are both "zclue" (without the quotes).
Once all the players are on the zclue network, it should be possible to start the game using the LAN network option from in the Clue program itself. Hamachi also has a built-in chat feature, and it ought to avoid most router problems, so it might be quite effective for Clue.
I am still happy to use XMPChat, but this is another possibility for playing.
