OK, the suvivor tourney went well, lemme know if you have any feedback. The biggest complaint we came across was that it was unfair to the good players. There's not too much we can do about this, but there's a couple small things.
First, next time the bye will go to the highest rated player, but you will only get the bye once, so it will go to the next highest rated. Someone will only get the bye twice if everyone else has gotten it once.
Second, we'll make sure you don't play the same person back to back and try and make the pairings each round as different as possible.
However, this still leaves all the very good players very vulnerable, so if you're good your best bet is making alliances with everyone to ensure your stay in the tourney.
other than these minor changes, everything is all set for the real survivor tourney which will be in about 2 weeks. I'll email everyone when i have a date set.
