No matter what force tried to bring him down, he still fought.

He died for freedom. Yet on a day we celebrate the life and legacy of one of our founding fathers, there was not ONE single person in Ygin that gave any effort to celebrate. Instead, I have to do the right thing. With all the ladderbux tds, ops, and players had, noone cared for the expense to honor the man who changed our life and our country for the better. I am deeply disappointed in everyone. But, I will continue to strive for civil and equal rights. I just hope maybe the TDs will take the time to honor to man, or the players to simply reflect on his life. Here are quotes from Dr. King and I live by them personally. While you play gin rummy, I want you to really think of the people who were not even given the right to play, although the Constitution was suppose to secure a right like this and the great wrong by the nation had to be right at the expense of a man's life.

"I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for the law."

"Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man's sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true."

"Nonviolence is the answer to the crucial political and moral questions of our time; the need for mankind to overcome oppression and violence without resorting to oppression and violence. Mankind must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love. "

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. "

"Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men."

"There is nothing more dangerous than to build a society, with a large segment of people in that society, who feel that they have no stake in it; who feel that they have nothing to lose. People who have a stake in their society, protect that society, but when they don't have it, they unconsciously want to destroy it."

"Violence as a way of achieving racial justice is both impractical and immoral. It is impractical because it is a descending spiral ending in destruction for all. It is immoral because it seeks to humiliate the opponent rather than win his understanding; it seeks to annihilate rather than to convert. Violence is immoral because it thrives on hatred rather than love."
