speeding up the tourneys

There are a couple of points the TDs think need to be mentioned in order to speed up the games. The timer has been at 7 minutes per game since I have been in Cases, with extra time given if someone goes brb. Some complaints have been made about that, so we are going to limit it to 1 brb per game, then the timer starts immediately the rest of the game.
Another issue is the speed of play. We all like to socialize at the table but the general rule should be play first, then type while it is not your turn.
We think heeding these two points will ultimately speed up the game, make it more enjoyable for all, and perhaps get some of those to return that have not visited us in SHG for awhile.
