Hey I was just reading around on here like I do once in a while. It is always the same posts though about getting this ladder back to what it was. The reason why no one plays here anymore can be becasue no one knows about it. Also the main reason is look at the amount of people who play in the ladder rooms now. Most of the people just play in social and beginner rooms. I quit playing checkers because it got boring after a while to me but I still like to play once in a while. Caases was my favorite part about playing checkers and if this ever did get a bunch of active members again I know I would come back. I tried getting people a couple of times but it just works for maybe a week or two because something always happens that gets someone mad and they don't play anymore. Whenever new people joined someone would always try to cheat them and then new people woudl always leave because they were treated wrong. I just don't think that it will ever be the same because the people who actually want to play checkers play it at other sites like vog. I think I'm not even sure about that since I haven't played there for over a year. I don't know if anyone remembers fcp_slasher but I think he was a main part in why this ladder was going about 2 years ago. He left in maybe June of 2 years ago but he had like 10 tournaments a day it seemed and people knew there would always be one going on. He ended up having like 700-900 tournaments and when he left it seemed like it just kept on going down. Well thats just what I think.
