....Is to host tournaments! Read Ralphus's posts below about rejuvinating the ladder. I agree that tournaments is the only way to go. After about 5-10 tourneys that are hosted daily for a while, then it may be enough to actually start playing cases ladder games as well as tournaments. 5 tournament directors should do that trick. They only need to host one tournament a day for 20 minutes - 2 if they have time.
You see, tournaments is really what brang this ladder alive from the start, and I think it's the only way to bring it back again.
Since Yahoo! does not advertise cases ladder on the left hand side anymore where it directs you to the ladder part of checkers, it really brang the popularity down, so far down this ladder is already dead. But there is always the word revival isn't there? The chances are of Yahoo! advertising Cases Ladder again is really no chance in hell (sorry for the expression).
Why can't I host tournaments? I am not returning to Yahoo! anymore, that is if you haven't read my profile yet. Can't explain why, makes me upset if I explain.
