Any one interested in online multiplayer games? If u are, i have one for you. Worms 2 is an online multiplayer game that is in serious need of more players. You can get a demo off the internet for free at www.worms2.com. There are 3 demos on the site available for download. One is just a 2 player one, one has online play (the one that needs more players), and one with introductory movies. Each one is about 10 mb. It doesnt take long at all 2 download them. For dial-up users its takes about an hour 2 download. All 3 demos include 1 map, 1 weapon set (not one weapon, 1 armory. It has 3 different guns, 2 types of grenades, bungee, rockets and more. The full version has way more weapons, way more maps, more custom abilitys, and other crap im not gonna spend the time 2 mention. If you have a really hard time at first, dont fret. The most important weapon on the game is the rope, at least on the demo. This particular map is set up for the rope, even if it wasn't meant 2. The bad thing about this demo is there is no computer Al and you can only play 2 player games or online games. If you want a computer Al demo go to wwp.team17.com. It does not provide net play. Its a big file (about 36mb) so that means all dial-up users would be sitting in your chair for about 6 hours. It has more weapons available, a couple of wormpot reels, and up to 4 players at once. If you have 4 players you probably would'nt be able 2 finish the game, it ends when the time runs out, unlike the other demo which provides sudden death. Like I said it is serious need of more players. The lobby is constantly empty and only a few games are played a day. It used to be filled with players 24/7, but its gotten older and ppl arent interested any more. New people stop playing a few days after they join because they either get on when nobody else is on or they dont know what they're doing. The other demo I mentioned is excellent to practice with, the reason is it has computer Al. If youve read this give the site a try and download it. Dont be discouraged if nobody is on, if this forum does what it is meant 2 there will be way more people on.
