: This is the basic setup I have for playing w2 behind a router and a firewall. This is what i have set and it works.
: 1. Port 47624 for both UDP/TCP forwarded in my router settings for the local IP of my computer.
: 2. worms2.exe and frontend.exe unblocked as an exception in windows xp firewall settings. Or winows firewall turned off.
: 3. latest version of directx9
: 4. W2MC.exe by snatch which tells worms your remote (external) IP. information about using this program can be found in the files forum section.( go to www.computerhead.biz to download)
: 5. I also forward the following ports for w2... these may or may not help, but I can both host and join games -- Try the list i have below if your having problems, these are all ports ive seen being used while running worms...
