Though rules in every league vary, most players will be purged after 21 days. I believe that the rules are different for players in the top five or top ten. So, chances are you won't be purged. There is always a chance that you may lose rungs. Still, I don't think that you will, only because lots of players have not played for weeks and have not lost any rungs. Though I am not 100% sure about this situation, the best advice I could give you would be to play on the day that you leave and to play on the day you get back. There is no such vacation status that you speak of. TD's can be put on vacation status, but I unfortunately players cannot be.
