HOW TO USE THE TRANSFER TOOL...

Hi All...

This kinda tricky but it should work.

Make sure you have set up an account with Excite.com. and downloaded all of the necessary software (Chat and Yahtzee). Some of you will NOT be able to get your old names. Make a new name and then come back to this site and use the following steps to transfer your old ladder account from THIS ladder to the NEW one. All of your stats and bux WILL be moved whether you are a premium membership holder or not. I will cover changing ladder names later in this post. :o)

HOW TO TRANSFER:

-Click on the MOVETOOL on the Main page, the one in Nike1's billboard, scroll down to Yacht(WON) and click "Next".

-A page will appear with choices. In the scroll down box you will see "ladder to move to" -Yahtzee(Excite) Pick that one.

-Type in your ladder name and password, click "Next".

-It should then say "Transfer Complete and Thanks for supporting Cases Ladder" or something to that effect.

Give it some time to go through (about 1/2 hour)and then go to the NEW ladder site ( http://www.igl.net/exyacht ) and look yourself up using "Find Player".

Remember..you will no longer be a member of THIS ladder. They havent added the new ladder to the scroll down box in the forums yet, so you wont be able to post anywhere but the new ladder, for the time being. I'll get on that right away :o))

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR LADDER NAME:

PLEASE Remember: Your Ladder Name must match your game name EXACTLY! If you were unable to get your OLD ladder name at Excite, use the following steps to change your Ladder name at the NEW site, once you decide on a new name and set up an Excite account AND once the transfer goes through :o)

-On the NEW ladder site ( http://www.igl.net/exyacht/ ) Go down the left side and find "User Editor". Click on it.

-In the little box, Type in your present Ladder name, the one you transfered over (NOT your Excite name)

-You will be taken to a page with choices on it. Click on choice #1, Change User Name, password, etc.

-In the box that appears...clear out your OLD name and type in the new one. (Exactly as it appears on Excite). You can change your password if you choose, but it isnt necessary.

-Click "Submit". You will then see "Your Changes have been successfully submitted and Thank you for supporting Cases Ladder."

-Next, use the "Find Player", type in your NEW name and look yourself up to make sure it went through.

That's it. LOL Whew!! If you have any questions or problems, feel free to contact Cases using the "Support" link on the new site if you transfered and the old site, if you havent.
