I have to agree completely with that Ink. In fact, I believe that I was supporting that idea atleast half a year ago. I remember, like many others, what spades was like before beta was even invented. All we need is tourneys for competitive play. I've quit ladders twice now... in fact I'm just coming back off a 2 month lay off from playing any spades. Rating isn't quite as bad, but if you play there a while, you'll see that it could never compare with the old days. I believe that there is a game suggestion link on hoyle's home page (www.won.net/hoyle). If we could get enough people to agree to have their names with this suggestion of yours we might be able to make a difference.
