I've been in ladders since it started, under many different names, many different times. I would get upset and quit and let a friend talk me back into it. Made a lot of friends in here, some have moved on, some are still around, but they've all made an impression on me.
I've tried not to make any enemies, and if I did, it wasn't intentional.
After sitting in the lobby tonight watching people attack each other, i realized that it has not changed at all since the 2nd week since Cases started ladders. Sure, I like the up games, and I can take them when I get them, but I don't camp, and have turned down up games from great p's like pandabear, jmd612 and others because I don't like to wait to play a game. I come in here for fun and laughs, not anger and slurs thrown at people that you don't really know.
Sit back and think before starting to slam on someone in the lobby. How well do you actually know this person?? I'm sure we've all been guilty coming in when we aren't in the best of moods and letting things get out of hand over a stupid card game. OR - we come in here to play a game in a really good mood and it is ruined by fighting in the lobby.
I for one, will not be sad to see cases go - after all - WON will still be here and that is where most of the originals met anyway. Let yahoo and MSN and the others get the fighting, and go back to playing cards with friends, and not worry about who is bidding, or who got derung, or whatever is going on.
I've seen a lot of people come and go, a lot of them come back - not for the cards, but for friends that they have made in here. There isn't anything worse then to come in here to relax and have brawl meet you in the lobby, and camping all over the place - geez, I've even offered to pay to get a game! lol
However, my 2 cents are in, not that it makes much of a difference. However, people,
keep in mind that words hurt, and they can hurt bad. You may not have meant to say them, but you did and I'm sure has caused some to really get upset. Is it all worth is over a game of cards - c'mon, aren't we more mature then that??
And, last but not least, wish i could name all that has made an impression on me - got so many really good friends in here.
Pokerbum - you deserved #1, and don't let anyone else tell you different. It's pretty sad they had to derung you just for their own petty satisifaction!!
And for all the others out there that I have met and played cards with - it's been great, and I'll be in rated, as I'm sure a lot of you will.
Okay - I'm done now, let the bashing begin!
