Hmm where to start....I'll just jump in...First off I would like to say I did not cme to won because of cases...I came because this was the place that I liked to play the best..I like the format I liked the people and I stayed....I played one of the first games when cases came here..as I recall it was me dlvry, nil and a few others....but I was coming here before cases.....I'm not sure what Flipside will do when taking over..but I figure give them a chance...its business for them....as it is for won....if you got a chance to sell your business for a profit most of us would.....and so will they..perhaps they will bring in some new and fresh ideas..perhaps they won't.....so I'm not sure what all this is about....why boycott them?......I for will will stay around and see what flipside has to offer....if I don't like it well I was looking for a place to play when I found won and I can look again....No one likes change but its inevitable....I hated when they shut the old won site down...but I got use to the new one as I'm sure we will all do again...or find somewhere else....I know alot are really sorry to see cases gone....and I'll miss it to..but I'm open for knew things......To be totally honest...I'm not sure its been that great of a thing for any of us.....We all use to play and have fun......now it seems like there is always more fighting and backstabbing then ever before and for what? A ladder rung....All seems just a bit silly to me.....although I've been as quilty at wanting the next up game as much as the next person....I'm not sure its made me or anyone here a better person for it ..I've just spent more time waiting for games than I use too..and worrying about who I might be missing when i'm not here..truthfully I'm not proud of that are you? ....Through it all though I have tried to maintain friendships and remember we're here for fun and I feel like on that point at least I have managed pretty well....but will my life end because cases leaves? I dont' think so..will my kids suffer...Not at all...Will I be a worse person? No.......I'll go on as always and maybe even recapture some of the fun of the game..... So lets all maybe just give this a chance and see what happens..I mean if you miss cases that much theres plenty of places to play cases...*smile*..
Now just one word to the ones who feel they have to remind us of their percentage ratings and skill ratings and whatever.....I'm glad you keep such close track of yourself.....I myself never look..I come here to play and have fun.....I play with many diffent partners newbies and all...so sure I risk my percentage and skill ratings but who cares?....and yeah I could sit stone cold in games and count and scheme but I prefer to have a little fun in my games...after all it is a GAME right? and games are for fun?......And second....I think its a shame when someone has to continually brag about there ratings and skills...a true skillful person never has to brag....But to each his own on that.....But Ihave alot more respect for the players that are good and don't brag than I do for the ones that do....To me if you have to brag then your not really that sure of yourself....I realize that that is a typical male thing though...lol......Well thats it for me......I'm done...and Yes I suck....but does it effect my life for the good or bad? ...nope lol
