I was awaken by a phone call telling me to turn on the tv...I was in awe of what I saw in front of me...senseless acts of hatred as I watch the first and then the second tower go down...this is my tribute to all the lives lost and the ones left behind...remember always love each other and never judge....Tammy
One Year
A year has come and gone yet we still don’t know why
Like birds of pry they swooped down and ravaged the heart of America
Loved ones lost and families left to survive alone
Mass destruction not only in the structures of the World Trade Center but in the hearts of millions
The rubble has been cleaned leaving a gaping hole
Babies have been born
The seasons have changed
We are all another year older
Yes America will survive and life does go on
But we will always remember the great loss of 911
We have come together as one
Tell your family you love them
Smile to a stranger on the street
Always respect the human race
For we never know when we to will be judged for our actions
If we stand together we can accomplish anything
As many we are strong
As one alone we are weak
