To Whom It May Concern,
I have been a loyal member of Won.net for over 1 years. I can safely say that I spend at least 3-8 hours a day here. Playing on this site was so enjoyable that I decided to devote quit a lot of my time to applying to be a TD, and then to running tournaments. My main goal for doing this was gaining loyalty from the Won.net players, and to keeping them on the site. Cases has been the most professionally run and well organized. I have also noticed that the player loyalty is so above and beyond that of any of the other clubs, that I was flabbergasted when I heard Cases was being dropped by Won/flipside.

We now have a TD staff of around 12 in pinochle, and we are running somewhere around 2 to 5 tournaments per day. With that amount of time being VOLUNTEERED by a lot of loyal Won players, I think that you would be making a considerable error in judgement by dropping Cases. The players that are in our tournaments are here because of the hard work and word of mouth that we as TD's have used to get them. I can only speak for myself but I assure you, I will be very vocal to all the players that regularly come to my tournaments about my feelings on this matter. I will view this as a complete betrayal of the time and effort that I have invested in making Won.net a place for my players to come and socialize and compete in the many tournaments that I hold.

Another thing that is very bothersome to me, is the fact that this decision seems to have been made in a very clandestine and, in my opinion, back stabbing way. We were never given a chance to voice our opinions on this decision, or that dropping Cases was even being considered. Why is that ? Does the fact that I am only an unpaid volunteer that has devoted a major part of my free time to helping build up your site, mean that I have no input whatsoever in decisions that WILL affect the future of Won.net and the future of all the players that play in my tournaments ? If that is so, then I can not express how deeply I am hurt that I have given so much of my time to an uncaring and thoughtless entity that does not even appreciate the people that got them to where they are now.

I strongly urge you to reconsider this business decision. It will hurt both the players and the site in the long run. Not only from the loss of players going to other sites so that they can continue to play in tournaments that are run by Cases, but also by the loss of respect and goodwill that had been demonstrated between Won.net and the Tournament Directors. How can I as a TD ever expect that all the time I devote to keeping players / customers here is actually appreciated or even looked on as being beneficial, if this is the treatment that I receive ?

I realize that this might be a little long, but I really can not impress upon you how important this is to me. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and hopefully it will bring about a change of viewpoint on Won.net's part.
