I recently sent a request to place snookums_23 at the #1 spot for 3 days out of respect . I have had several players request this action, several guidlines are required though, anyone having any actual facts I need them to send to Cases Staff and also need curent #1's blessing for this action.

This is the current guideline for OPs to use when paying respect to a departed player on their ladder.

1) Verify the death - call funeral home if need be.

2) Move player to #1 (check with current #1 to see if it is ok).

3) Allow players to post losses to the departed player for a period of 2 days.

4) After 2 days, move player to status of unranked and let normal play continue on ladder.

Hope this clears up any issue regarding this topic.
