Many of you are forgetting the reason that you joined cases ladder.

When i first came to WON back in Nov 99, I was told that i should join the ladder to get more regular games.

At that time people used to say go to www.clanladder.com

I joined Cases to play people who where on that ladder too , albeit only about 200 with really only 50 active at the start of this year.

As clanladder got worse in ability to report and as more people got more disgruntled with not being able to get to play certain people on clanladder, they quit and joined cases.

I for one have stayed on both ladders as certain "issues" have never been an issue with me.

Personally I thought that the Cases ladder was superior to clanladder and I believe that is the underlying factor in a majority of the people who have supported Cases in preference to Clan.

Tournements where never the underlying factor , they just happened to evolve ritualistically. If they where an issue or the motivating factors , a lot of you that i have known "PRE Cases" would have been playing on Yahoo or Zone for that reason.

Who is to say that the new setup could not be as succesful with the same level of support?

I believe that it is great to voice your opinion as a player and supporter but ultimately it is CASES responsibility to maintain their existance in WON or FLIP.

FLIPSIDE is doing the logical thing as far as protecting their market goes but it is up to Cases to convince them that the two can work in harmony with each other.

My understanding is that , bar for the tournies , cases is still here , so if you want to play in tournies you can play in the Flipside tournies....who says you can't report to cases your loss?

I like the WON site for it's superiority in graphics and sound and dare i say it , it's "random" dice.

I like the people i have made friends with on this site BEFORE i knew about cases.

I appreciate all the efforts that TD's have put in and my heart goes out to them for the effort they have put in but again i say "what is Cases doing for YOU" on this matter.

Don't get me wrong , i have been a supporter of cases for a long time and still support their existance due to the superior ladder they have. I am not Gold but not for a lack of trying , For some reason My Aussie Visa , M/C and Amex are not accepted and other forms of payment are basically for North America.

I have had 3 "run ins" with cases and have been less than satisfied with their handling of the situation as someone in the "Marketing" industry. Each would concern "the peoples view on things" and never once did they consult "the people" or players that support the site.

I can't say i have had the same with WON.
Your complaints etc. will only re-confirm to Flipside that Cases may be too dangerous as a competitor.

I am surprised that Cases Hierarchy has not posted in this forum to re-assure us that they are doing all that is possible etc.etc.

Writing to Cases would be a better solution but don't be surprised with the standard "we are looking into....." for weeks on end.

See you at the tables for some.....errrr fun and friendship instead....maybe?
