A little more work than the good old days of TW99, but I got online.

First of all, how do I talk to the person I'm playing, while I'm playing them? I couldn't figure it out in the game.

I "beat" the game in practice mode, but all kinds of things changed online. I got quite a whuppin, and the person I played isn't even on the ladder.

Any other hints I could get here would help greatly, thank you.
