I have received numerous emails in the past few days from you guys asking where are the tourneys.

Well, to answer everyones question it's because i have no EASO days left and i am very up in the air wether its worthwhile to pay to play and to continue on this ladder. I have taken a voluntary rank reduction whilst i consider what to do and am watching what happens on this ladder and the actions of a certain few people before making my decision.

Clearly, there are not enough numbers on the Direct IP ladder to start doing tourneys there and after much thought about this feel that it is logistically too difficult to run tourneys through CLO due to too many hassels in exchanging of IP numbers etc etc etc...

As an afterthought on that last paragraph, sometime ago we had a vote regarding to the location of where cases matches should be played as there was accusations of people hiding in various rooms of EASO and lack of accessability to those players.

After plenty of thought to this and being a regular on this ladder for some time i came to the conclusion that IP matches should be added to the location (along with vet room) as the Direct IP ladder in my opinion will never work due to numbers in this community. Hence dropping the Direct IP ladder and keeping the 1 ladder and adding the IP option as a way of playing your matches because lets face it, we have a server thats not reliable at the best of times and quite frankly i have noticed that many people out there (along with myself at this stage) dont wish to pay for a server that is substandard and not worth it after paying $50 for the product in the first place. Tincup's point on EA boards summs this up, after 12 months you have paid $120 odd dollars for a game and no game is worth that much.

Anyways some food for thought and i would like to see as much feedback as possible on this from everyone in this community, players and ops.

Thanks,

Guru
