: Your right to some extent fury..but if your waiting for this ladder to be like the others good luck....your gonna be waiting a long time....I dont think it will ever be like it used to be..I was on tw99 till 2002 came out...I was used to dealing with some cool peeps...Dont know what happened but it's just not the same anymore and I doubt it ever will be.Not that there are'nt good guys on this one..or had (alot left because of having to pay for online access or got tired of the buttheads on this ladder)....So good luck bud..I still play for now....but they may change because hardly anyone on and I cant see paying for online service when there is no one on to play.
The guys like you that have stuck too it on here desrve a big clap on the back bro......Im would like to see the ladder expand a bit and I still think the current players can do that........I don't expect for a minute that the ladder will grow much but even a 30% increase could see 50 to 60 games a day being played..........We never had many more members on tw2 but you could get 10 games a day if you wanted..........It's these rooms that drive most new players crazy.
If Rob hadn't have mentioned guys can be gone but still appear to be in the room I wouldnt have known........I'm beginning to get round the place and I do like some of the features but it's away over the top.....absolutely no need for all those rooms.....2 would have been enough.
I wonder what bright spark did away with the green and red lights of TW2 it was a very simple and effective way to find out if a games were available.
I can see no practicle use for whispers and private messages.............all they seem to have done is caused animosity between players.
You have a very Valid point Splash...who the hell would want to pay to play when you cant get a game. Surely EAsports have learened their lesson regarding this.
I wonder just how much people have actually paid in hard cash for online play...........no one would have batted an eyelid had the game cost $5 more to buy and they would have collected 1,000 times more. Surely enough to keep any server going..........They are already asking the question in their survey about adding a premium to the price of the game so here's hoping TW4 is sold in abundance with FREE (not that it will ever be) on line play.........The majority of guys I have met on here and knew from TW2 are great guys........we've all had our fair share of the clowns but they never last.........To me it wasn't the guys but the combination of bad design and open additional charges that ruined the game.
The actual Game TW3 is actualy excellent it all the crap you have to put up with before you get to hit a ball that bugs me............
